<newb type question>
Isn't the jacket a bit long on #2?
In my mind it seems like your just wearing your suit jacket instead of a sports coat with a length like that.

i have 38.3 inches chest and the first one is approx 39.3" if smaller than first one, it's going to be too tight to wear for me.

I've a 41 inch chest and I squeeze myself into a 36 jacket. Well, the measurements that fits me the best is 19-19.5 P2p, 17-17.5 shoulders, 17-18 waist

That sounds ridiculous. We are humans, not mannequins.

To the OP, keep in mind sleeve width and armholes. Both of them seem too baggy in the arms for you, especially the forearms. Go on a rigorous fapping regimen to build them up or get the sleeves tapered.

I agree with this assessment completely. The sleeves in the first are also too long.

No offence, but this is bullshit. A 19.5" P2P means a total chest measurement of 39 inches, and you say your chest is 41 inches? Unless your jacket is made of spandex, there is no way that it's going to stretch the two whole inches that would be necessary for you to even be able to fit into it. Certainly not without the lapels gaping and buttoning point lifting up so much that it would look ridiculous.

I guess that's OK if you're going for the kind of look in the photo below, but I can't imagine what those kind of measurements would look like on a business suit.

i can't imagine how a guy of 41" chest can fit into a 36 because you can't move or button the jacket.. a few times ago when i was searching on the internet, i even saw sth like suit coat should measure 4" larger than your chest but it's abviously very large, i guess between 1" and 2" is ok, no ?
