I was walking about this evening and noticed two incredibly bright celestial bodies in the western sky. I kept thinking, that cannot be Ares the god of war.

Indeed, they were the great Zeus and Aphrodite. As it turns out,

Tuesday night (March 13), Jupiter shines to Venus' upper left. The planets will make a spectacular conjunction, shining just a few finger-widths apart, with Venus appearing a bit higher than Jupiter.
