Watching the ManC-Chelsea match on ESPN. I always get a good chuckle in how they awkwardly recreate a football pitch in a baseball stadium.

The only plus point about it was, that they actually used the squads and not a second team or something!

What a game that was. The best against the best. A great advertisement for German football and for the sport generally. A thriller.

Redemption for Bayern and especially Robben, last year's goat.

But....I wish Martin Tyler and Gary Neville had called that game for US viewers. They were brilliant last year. Gus Johnson did a better job than I have seen/heard him do previously, but still this game is bigger than the Super Bowl and you need top talent calling the game.

Gus Johnson really is a horrible announcer and I'm tired of him. He constantly states facts that really mean nothing.

I was at the St Louis Chelsea v City game - I was amazed at the lack of City fans actually singing. Really didn't hear anything.from them at all.

In other news - Neymar signed with Barca. It really was the best move for him. He still has much to learn about diving and Barca really know best.

To be fair, I quite enjoy watching Dortmund too.

Next year ,we will close to the semi finals.

Dante and Ribery both should've been sent off, but ultimately Bayern deserved the win. Not sure what Dortmund were thinking the last 20 or so minutes of the game...

Playing one half time like hell and still 0-0 showed that they weren't up to Bayern.

Dortmund had their shot to do something in those first 25 minutes and once they failed there it appeared Bayern got their legs a bit and were much stronger in the second half.

Great match to watch though and in the end although I wanted Dortmund to pull it off, the best team did win.

Really wanted to see Falcao and Lewandowski in the EPL. Ah well...
