Not sure, if I had to venture a guess it could be the special class for spam reporting that Fok was talking about, but I don't know and there aren't any Chinese viagra merchants to practice on. I don't see any editorial powers, know that much

Not sure if Fok saw it, but jet on the SW&D side is on the ban list (depending on who you ask this could be a wonderful gift of the new forum)

Everyone, we are reading your complaints and criticisms and working to get things how we want them. I'm still getting used to how things work now too. For 'how do I do this' type questions, please post them in the New Forum Support forum where a dev team member can answer them quicker and much more accurately than I can.

Can I get a little Hall Monitor love? There are a few threads (photography, jean questions, etc.) I'm on that are pretty active, get spammed almost daily, but otherwise are out of the general SF eye.

I think it's just that when we report spam it is immediately removed from view and placed in the queue for spamination. Basically the same as anyone else except the moment we report the post is hidden vs. having it sit there until someone gets to it

I cant believe I opened General Chat and did not see one spam thread. If it stays that way, thats really awesome. I have to admit I never even tried to look at threads in GC because 9/10 threads on the main page were spam.

edit - on another positive note, the ability to create an avatar without size constraints is just awesome.

one more edit - Was stinsonbass the first ban of the new system? He just posted something 20m ago and now it says banned. What happened there?

Hey J and other mods - I do have some more comments on the new site, layout, etc. but there are like 5 places I could conceivably put them. Is there a preferred thread or other method for me to post my thoughts and issues?

Am I the only one with a browser that caches pages then refuses to refresh them? I'm having to delete cached pages and manually refresh to update forum front pages.

Oh, and if a post of yours gets spaminated, are you notified? I have the feeling some of my posts are about to get the treatment.
