Did you pick the jacket up?

Yeah, I finally did. Your fit convinced me. (I like the lookbooks and all, but sometimes they just seem like science fiction; I generally like to see things pop-up in WAYWT before committing my dollars....)

Biggen, that's not too bad! Though for me, it would cross that line of plausible deniability, where there's just like no chance of not projecting to everyone, Hey, what's up, I'm into CLOTHES!!!! Best for extroverted days, I guess. Will still probably try at some point if I ever grab the shorts. :)

Hey, I know those pieces :D

I would replace the shirt with something a bit more plain to balance the knit pattern of that set...thinking something like a white BD or white t-shirt. The shirt on its own is nice, just don't think it all goes together.
Yeah, they are really great.

Yeah, if I do it again I will go for a plain shirt. Just felt like going all EG the first time I tried it and I only got two EG-shirts and the other one definietly wouldn't have worked her

I actually didn't feel that self conscious, mostly just felt comfy.

I like that, though I thought eluther made a good suggestion, as well. I just can't think of anything texture-y besides chambray that wouldn't be too weird for the office. Denim? Seersucker?

@Cotton Dockers I think the whole saturation/contrast thing eluther mentioned in the other thread may solve itself once that chambray has been worn and washed some more and faded off. Still looks pretty new and crisp. I like it fine as it is though. Something like this purple stripe 19th c bd would look great and still be office friendly, as an alternative - I think the hem shape can really contribute to give the 'EG look' even without going in for floral mania, etc.

Can anyone explain why the hem is so high on the curved shirts (work shirt / newport ) ? I've got a couple of said shirts and can't seem to integrate them into any fits as they always look slightly off to me. For what reason did Daiki make them so high ? If anyones got any good fit pics please post.

It's based on a vintage (1920's?) Brooks brothers shirt pattern. Old-school shirts were meant to be tucked but I think eg looks good untucked. Wear with a crewneck undershirt and don't think too much about it. While it may feel weird it's a flattering cut.
