Should we change the name of the forum?

The 'streetwear' part of the name, mainly. Not the name of the whole site.

can you tell me why there is even a seperate section for this? why can't we discuss kiton, isaia, and adidas originals in the same forum/section?

Mainly because the serious suit people don't get along well with the crowd in here (and not really vice versa). Ironically, this forum has far less trolling, fighting, etc... sigh.

And also because the denim and sneaker topics took up enough of the space in the MC forum that it was worth splitting it off.

Obviously this would do better if an alternative were on the table - people never vote for the devil they don't know. I voted "no" based on the first few pages of suggestions, but I might vote yes for "Denim and Threads".

I don't see why the mods don't just make an executive decision, though...

Heheh. We will. Asking for public opinion and acting on it are two different things altogether.

Seeing as none of my clothes (and mostly everyone else's as well) are not really streetwear inspired, I think a change could be useful for clarity's sake.

The name is fine, I interpret streetwear for its literal meaning and it is basically what we wear on the street, not in the office. I haven't heard one suggestion better than the current one or I'd vote to change.

I dunno, I'd still rather post in the forum with the first guy than the forum with the second, so maybe the names are working okay?
