I'm surprised by the lack of love on kimono sleeves.

Just another reason to get a capital one card that doesn't have the foreign transaction fee. They send me an email when something like that happens with a yes/no link to click on to let them know i authorize the purchase. They just started doing this recently and it's great.

While everyone is talking Schneider...

The knit looks really nice, but the raglan construction wrecks it for me. Look at the striations warping around the shoulder -- looks really bad IMO, not to mention short. I doubt sizing up would fix that. (Full disclosure: I don't like raglan construction in general and off the top of my head I don't own a single top without shoulder seams.)

Is the "brick knit" reused elsewhere? I haven't been paying attention, but it seems like he usually uses his key season fabrics on a few different pieces.

Thoughts? Can get a almost new pair for $200 shipped.

Not unless the rest of your clothing has crayon marks all over. The totally plain ones show up on eBay sometimes, they're nicer IMO.

So this cote ciel bag is roomy and looks to be well constructed, but it has some next level futuristic shape which kinda bothers me as I can't imagine it going with anything except for some tech ninja acronym outfit. Leaning towards the headporter daypack, I'm looking for utility first and foremost. Thanks for suggestions.

North face or something similar from REI Still don't get fashion backpacks, you pay more for less function and marginally better design. If it's something like a leather TOJ bag or something like that sure but anything else no

I love my Filson backpack. I have the one with one leather strap down the middle to hold the flap down, not the one bigger, goofier looking one that has 2 straps.

It's a bit small, but it helps me avoid overpacking when I go away for a weekend trip. And the side zip access feature is really useful.

The black one I have doesn't really give off the 'heritage' vibe that the other colors do, so it doesn't look quite as nerdy.

I have that exact backpack, it's quite versatile surprisingly. I am pretty much monochrome 80% of the time though
