1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    ^^ Grenson MP?

    Yup

^ Nice rebel! I was wondering who had bought those. [IMG]

Unfortunately, it was me. I am not supposed to be buying anything, but I couldn't resist. I am trying to put a pair of shoes up for sale to fund the purchase, but I can't find them. How sad is that? I can't find a pair of shoes I own. [IMG]

I am going to steal your toecap collection.

    Bals >>>>> bluchers.

True. But shell bluchers go so well with khakis and madras/OCBDs that I pretty much wear everyday to work. I do have these shell bals though , thanks to rebel:

I am badly craving for punchcap bals though.

    - Shoes made by Edward Green are always exquisite. Top class.
    - One famous EG shoes on my 'to-buy' list is the EG Dover in Burgundy (MTO)

Took delivery today of 2 Gieves & Hawkes shoes. A navy monk (which I have been wanting forever) and a purported black shell cordovan. They certainly feel and look like shell, but can anyone confirm?

These are great! Nice work, Spoo.

Anyone know who made these for Gieves & Hawkes?

So which one of you outbid me on the Grenson Trents that just went on eBay? [IMG]

Hard to be 100% sure but they look like shell to me.

Yes. Dovers are awesome. I just acquired a pair on the 82.
HE means Echton ... 6eyes and no heel counter. I quite prefer the Echton to the Dover.

It's neither the Ecton or the Dover actually. It's the RLPL Carter. It has a longer split than the EG Ecton and it has these little side pieces stitched on the side.
