top, although after a few years that cognac will have darkened to a nice rustic tan, whereas the burgundy will darken towards black

Brecon has a very different (and, IMO, better) look to it, though you can't quite tell from those photogs.
Chepstow last is blobby and stubby.
Brecon is on the 341, which is quite sleek (something like the Vass F or a less sleek EG 82). Even though it has the double sole and storm welt, it is quite a refined-looking shoe.

yes it can! i have had a couple of shark skin shoes made with Zee many years back good leather and hard wear too

thro in the end i gave them to my Bro, but i do plan to get some G&G's in shark at some point

the adelaide is in kid goat

as l-k said smooth sharkskin can take a polish well
i've seen some hi shine shark j.m westons
and also at lobbs in london

these however are waxed nubuck shark

this is what they looked like before bestetti added creams and wax:

I really think they're cool. I kinda like 'em without the wax and cream as well. I'm curious to see how my brothers black ones will look.

i like the untreated SS too it can look ver woodlike
