Take this, Entertainment Weekly! OK, list your top ten films of the last twenty-five years. List them in order, as I'll be assigning 1-10 points to the choices based on their ranking. All films that don't fit the criteria will not be counted. Don't rag on someone else's list, even if its comprised totally of Michael Bay flicks. Let's see if we can do better than Entertainment Weekly (I'm slightly worried).

Edit: This thread is dead and done. Boo-hoo(s) abound.

Sweet, a sucker. Yes. We're not operating under EW's Anglo-centric guidelines. Most if not all of my list will be foreign films.

I was lazy and just went through the top100 I posted here, which had glaring omissions itself. The short amount of films selected made me leave out good stuff like Goodfellas, Regular lovers and Sonatine, among others.

What is this, some fruity list of French films about surrendering and fine cheeses? This is America. We want blood, guts, sex and violence. I don't even know what a plot is.

The mission has loads of gunfights and is a gangster movie, I know you're being ironic but maybe watch this one? I also like The killer, hard boiled and even face/off.

Just go with what inspires you, you'll leave out most of the good stuff. There's at least ten good movies made every year so how are you going to fit 250 movies in a top 10 anyway...
