I can't discern it. Maybe it's dialed back into the supporting cast or something. OR perhaps what I thought was immortelle was really immortelle + Something Else, or maybe it was just Something Else.

Since you bring up Immortelle, I ended up passing a bottle of Soivohle Tuscan Leather to a friend last week and she took a whiff of it and remarked on what she was picking up in the notes. She decided that there was either civet or castoreum and noted that civet travels down her spine and settles in her lower back, while castoreum hangs in her nose for a while. That's when it really hit me that there are people who are far more in tune with this than I'll ever be.

Since you bring up Immortelle, I ended up passing a bottle of Soivohle Tuscan Leather to a friend last week and she took a whiff of it and remarked on what she was picking up in the notes. She decided that there was either civet or castoreum and noted that civet travels down her spine and settles in her lower back, while castoreum hangs in her nose for a while. That's when it really hit me that there are people who are far more in tune with this than I'll ever be.

Wow. I don't even know what castoreum is? Does it smell like unwashed ****? I'll be able to understand that one.

Anybody get to some Kinski? Saw that it has marijuana accord in it and definitely sounds interesting, but I doubt it would ever work for anybody.

On a side note, I somehow put the wrong city in my shipping from luckyscent, now my samples will be lost in the mail forever

Caron - Yatagan. Don't like at all. Probably the basil notes or so. Longevity isn't very good either (and I'm glad it is). Basil gets lost in the drydown which was fortunate for me. Still, will not wear it again.

Good weed has a very hoppy aroma, considering that they are close relatives - like a powerful Imperial Pale Ale.
