YSL Live Jazz today - nice, but sort of died off on my skin pretty quickly. Basically no projection.

Yesterday - Montale Red Vetyver. I can see why Rach would like this. Its got a definitive "stink" to it that sits just underneath the vetiver smell. Its sort of like Guerlain Vetiver with a tough of Kindgom. Odd.

Today - ELd'O Jesuis de Homme. Summery with a hint of plum/fruit to it. A bit of a masculine backdrop but nothing too overpowering. Nice. I'd compare it to Premier figurer and it smells like something else that I can't put my finger on at the moment.

Jo Malone - Grapefruit. A note that interests me but this stuff (even on my shirt) didn't last more than a few hours (3?). I'll take Pamplelune or Concentree D'Orange Verte anyday.

Jubilation XXV today. With most fragrances, I initially overestimate how much I like them, and discover over time that I like them less than I thought. But Jubilation XXV has been the reverse. I was quite disappointed at first--I think because it was so different from what I was expecting--but I find myself reaching for it more and more lately.

I'm back into Creed. Wearing Aventus today.

Any other Creed scents you'd all recommend? I also have Himalaya.

Along that same vein would be Silver Mountain Water.

I'd visit a Creed counter somewhere, they all vary so much in scent and longevity. Original Vetiver is pretty nice, although you can approximate the scent with Mugler Cologne.

Aventus is actually the only Creed I get any reasonable longevity with - GIT, MI, SMW, Himalaya, VIW - all gone by 4-6 hours.

You got a good batch of Aventus. There's so much variation between batches. I have 2 decants with dismal longevity and 1 with super long lasting staying power - 18 hours or longer.
