As I side note--it's unbelievable how quickly they deliver fabrics to the US. The lastest order arrived at my shirtmaker's in three days! This is not typical of deliveries from England.

I wore this suit the other day and I got a lot of positive reactions. No one noticed the sleeve cuffs which is exactly what I like about them; they are a subtle detail which are not easy to detect even after my tailor purposefully misaligned the stripes.

By contrast, The "Flusser cuffs" (amongst other concerns) are too noticeable, too klunky and too theatrical.

Distinguishing between turn-up cuff is like distinguishing between hemorrhoids.

I was reading Jeremy Hackett's book Mr. Classic and he mentioned that he liked turn back cuffs on suit jackets. He also mentioned it was an elegant style popular with nattier clients and tailors on The Row during the 50s and 60s. This corroborates what Mr. Corvato related to me about turn back cuffs; that they were worn by elegant Americans during the 1950s and 60s. The book is very good in its own right.

I'm sure that's all true. It's just a shame that yours are executed so badly.
