Sanders look great! Mind if I ask did you go true to size? Trying to determine my sizing (normally a 8 on 1494 Alden Chukkas, for reference).
Probably this means that you might go with 7.5 UK if size 8 US = 7UK, as I don't have experience with Alden.I suggest you go up at least a half size as they run small: I am normally 6 or 6.5 UK depending on last, these are size 7 UK and they are somehow snug even though my feet are slim and with a low instep and volume.
I didn't change my laces, those are the original ones that came with my boots, that I bought at a brick-and-mortar store.@Mercurio Which shoelaces did you add? They look much better than the stock laces that Sanders provide.
Bradshaw & Lloyd makes shoes for its own brand at the Sanders factory.
Produced on Hurst last, "this last provides an elegant toe shape without being too long in the toe"

Similar, but not quite, shoe pattern is different. These look great! Are you sure they are made by Sanders? They have more of a NPS look than a Sanders look.
Nice chukka boots for the photo, but in my experience, their crepe soles are very slippery with most wet floors.
I have not walked in them on wet tiles or marble, but on ice, yes, they are slippery.very slippery with most wet floors.
