Sanders look great! Mind if I ask did you go true to size? Trying to determine my sizing (normally a 8 on 1494 Alden Chukkas, for reference).

As I answered in the "Boots, Boots, Boots" thread,
I suggest you go up at least a half size as they run small: I am normally 6 or 6.5 UK depending on last, these are size 7 UK and they are somehow snug even though my feet are slim and with a low instep and volume.
Probably this means that you might go with 7.5 UK if size 8 US = 7UK, as I don't have experience with Alden.

Bradshaw & Lloyd makes shoes for its own brand at the Sanders factory.
Produced on Hurst last, "this last provides an elegant toe shape without being too long in the toe"

These look great! Are you sure they are made by Sanders? They have more of a NPS look than a Sanders look.

Similar, but not quite, shoe pattern is different.
Sanders medallion pattern on toe.
The rubber sole that Sanders uses.
I've already bought shoes from De Winter brand.
Richard is mentioned on the Sanders website as one of the main clients from the 90s of the last century.

Happy to have found this thread. I got some stuff out for winter and found these, which I had completely forgotten about, and not worn for years.
They are US 9/1/2. STET last. If I recall correctly they are Worcester? Very comfortable.
Thinking about putting them on the sale thread.
