Just curious, what are your foot measurements? Mine are 10.9”L x 4.2”W. Was about to pull the trigger on a 8.5 UK dark brown Holborn but was told by Richard @ Bradshaw & Lloyd that my foot is considered a 9.5 UK F fit. Now I’m very confused because I own a Herrings Gray black calf in 8.5 UK (City last) and it fits me fine. When you said yours didn’t fit right, were you referring to the toe box touching the top of your toes?
Yes, I was referring to the toe box touching the top of my big toe.

Some shoes with low toe boxes have this issue for me. Tricker's boots also for instance.

I have never measured my feet by the way and I live in Europe so don't do inches ;).

I have lived in the US for a while long ago btw but never gotten used to the imperial measuring system. Metric FTW :)

Ok, got it. In metric I'm 27.7 L x 10.7 W cm. Here in America we are so backward even to this day we're still using SAE sockets while the rest of the world is using metric. :puzzled:

By the way, how does your Holborn fit width wise? Is the Stet last really that wide compared to an F fit or is it just borderline between an F and G? If you can't find a shoe with the same specs as the Holborn (8UK G), would you even consider an F fit and size up to an 8.5?

Let me know your thoughts.
