Are these the ones with the texas cotton? sorry i get confused with samurai's numbering.

If they are, get a 32 if you are after a not too slim look. It also depends on the size of your legs though. I normally wear 32's but i sized down 1 cause i have skinny legs.

I'd check superfuture for information on these jeans, there are at least 30 people over there with them.

I know that someone who has both these and the so505xx said that the so500xx are slimmer. That's notable because the so505xx are billed as the slimmest samurai cut.

The difference between the slimness between the 505 and 500 is probably so small that you won't notice it anyway when wearing them. As for the 5000's i've seen them worn very slim. I think its because anything with a w29 or lower the width of the legs get considerably slimmer as oppose to a pair that is w30 or above.

Imo you shouldn't worry about the fit too much with samurais, just be happy that you are getting a pair of jeans that is out of this world. When i recieved mine i ended up not caring about how they fit....i was too busy and still am admiring them
