Safari 2.0 is pretty sweet. It was way better than firefox until the most recent version of FF. I switched back to FF because I wanted to use some plugins and then never went back. Safari is based off KDE's Konqueror browser from Linux, which is a pretty good browser.

I can't imagine using Safari on M$, probably be like IE on OS X back in the day.

I heard that if you install Safari it unleashes AIDS on your computer

Screen caps confirm this.

This is what I would assume. In OS X Safari and iTunes are quite snappy but iTunes lags in M$. They prolly need to load about half of the OS X libraries just to run. I think I'll try it just to see. ------------ Just installed it. It isn't that slow to start up, actually starts faster than FF I'd say. Also, the anti-aliased fonts are absolutely beautiful. I can't believe with all the money that M$ has, that they can't figure out how to make something look nice. I have not used Vista, hopefully they fixed this. Linux and OS X both figured it out a while ago. The window decorations look a little out of place, but all in all, I'm going to use safari for my regular browsing in windows now.

Yeah it raped Windows.

What better way to crush your enemies than to give them a disguised gift in the form of a web browser?

Firefox is the king of browsers right now, IMO. In terms of customizability nothing else comes close. This Safari crap is at the bottom of the totem pole as far as I'm concern.

You should have been testing all along.

Mozilla based
Safari
Konqueror
MSIE
Opera

haven't these always been the 5 to match, with Konqueror being questionable?
