Yeah, it's been a little over a week since I sent him my info for an invoice with no response. Don't know how long it usually takes so figured I'd just be patient.

No doubt, the price is what it is, and it’s a lot. That said, the first bite is the worst, because that’s when he builds the custom last. After that initial pair, he can re-use the last pattern, and subsequent orders are significantly less expensive. So it is kind of an investment...
It’s been taking him a while to respond to me as well, about two weeks between responses. When he’s not in the shop he’s in the gym hahaYeah, it's been a little over a week since I sent him my info for an invoice with no response. Don't know how long it usually takes so figured I'd just be patient.

I didn’t ask, but based on the emphasis of how expensive the initial custom last process was, I got the feeling that subsequent pairs would run somewhere in the 1k-2k range. Maybe more. But I could be totally wrong.Never heard of this, how much are the subsequent pairs?

It doesn’t cost that much. My first pair with custom measurements back in 2019 was $1,080Maybe $1k less, but charging $5k or $6k just for the last development seems … eccentric.
Paid my invoice. Boots due October 2023! Now to completely forget I even paid for them.
Yikes... glad I got my orders in heh. If he's on schedule, I should hopefully receive my first pair next month.
Yeah totally. Better to just have your deposit in and forget about it and it’ll eventually get here. I’ll still have a second pair for summer ‘22 to wait on but I don’t even think about it.It is a hell of a wait for sure. I've wanted these boots for a while though so I'm willing to hold out.
Let's hope society can hold out that long ?Paid my invoice. Boots due October 2023! Now to completely forget I even paid for them.
