I really like the Italian style when it comes to loafers...in my opinion...the Italians make the best styled loafers...and Bestetti's loafers I think look best on his Perfetta last...which comes across as very long and extreme when used on his oxfords...but is very elegant and exemplifies very well the Italian style when used on his loafers.

though I must admit...they look pretty good with the almond toe also...from what I understand from Riccardo...the Almond Last and the Perfetta Last are essentially the same...the only difference being the shape of the toe...

So the almond toe still has the very elongated look...just not with the extreme angles from the Perfetta's sharp chiseled toe.

Yes, he does the tassle loafer style very well...much better than the boring tassle loafers by Alden that every banker in NYC wears every day of the year haha

My RTW blake Maverick nearing finishing

That's cool! Tomorrow I go to see directly in the laboratory by Bestetti. Because I'll do the second test of my bespoke Gladietor. If I see something interesting photographer for the new post. I can not wait to test the new changes that I made to the form. I hope to be satisfied.

Am seriously considering the novecento line ever since GG has increased their price and limit their MTO flexibility. For anyone who already has experience with bestetti, do you know

1. If he offers aniline calf skin or shell cordovan? Not a big fan of crust / patina combination

2. Will he be flexible to follow another design request? Am thinking to do GG deco joyce design, but in Perfetta last :)

Thanks a lot

^^^ All RTW-shoes use aniline leathers, MTO and Novecento use crust. But if you prefer aniline leather it would most definitely not be a problem to use that in a Novecento or MTO-order.

Wurger: Great looking pair!
