Any idea on how to remove silicone spray from ones leather shoes? Attempted using lexol leather cleaner and a sponge. Lots of foam but the leather did not even get wet.

This stuff is nasty.

Thank you

Saphir Renomat could be worth a try.
Thought silicone did not dissolve in hydrocarbons. Pretty sure renomat has organics, but I am curious if it works.

Does anyone have any experience?

Thank you

What kind of silicone do you mean? You got caulk on them?
No, there are shoe care products which have silicone in them. There are those insta shine sponges and there are also sprays.

One of the youngsters at my shoe repair guy loves to use silicone on shoes.

Oh, then just use Renomat from Saphir. That stuff is meant to get rid of that.
