Reasons why New York Sucks

A bit of a silly question: might have the day off tomorrow, so what should I do in NYC?

Would rather not do any of the museums, and I've been to most of the parks already. Should I check out Coney Island? Go to the zoo? coffee shops? Astoria/Harlem (haven't seen either neighborhood)? ???

If you have no friends there to hang out with, then go to Central Park during the day. Good people watching.

That's the only good thing in new york other than drinking/eating with people. Everything else about new york sucks.

I'd +1 on Central Park, but walk up to the more northern parts, who cares about ******* Strawberry Fields. So what if you've already been, I've been to the park hundreds of times and it still amazes me.


Coney Island is cool too. So is Harlem, mostly from Marcus Garvey park and north on Lenox. Good food and coffee shops. I like Astoria but meh for visiting.

Well it depends really. But not on a Friday. But events that start at 10pm on weeknights, **** that.

come out to Coney Island on Saturday. The weather should be perfect, and it's an easy Subway trip.

True, but it was a block away from your place, at that time of night it would take me 45 minutes to get home.
