No. But it did make me aware of the movie, which I wouldn't have been otherwise. So in that sense, it worked. Make enough people aware, and you will reach plenty who want to see the movie.

I can't argue with that, but they're going to have to keep upping that game until we're looking at public executions inside of 15 years.

I don't mind attention-getting marketing; just the lowest common denominator of this stunt stuff. The recent coffee store stunt for Carrie didn't help that movie.

I think it does work with products, just not movies.

lefty, I was quiet traumatized by The Exorcist as a young lad and still consider it a great film even if it no longer scares me. So, given the similarities, I was naturally predisposed to be amused by Devil Baby.

It reminded me more of Rosemary's Baby.

Yeah, that's true. To be honest, I didn't watch the trailer of the film after the prank, but just the idea of a "devil baby" made me think of that film.

Has anyone been following the series of tabloid stories from the Post about this shitty school? No textbooks. Fur-wearing principal making $148k shows up at 3 pm for work (if she shows up at all). The kids watch movies most of the time... It's lolzy.

$148k isn't enough to make me commute to far Rockaway. Even if I could get there at 3pm.

Me too. That is a great movie and scared the shit out of me. "Your mother sucks cocks in hell" is pretty much one of the great lines of moviedom. Didn't stop me from buying Linda Blair's Oui issue, though.

I'm happy to watch people jumping in fright. Just don't love it as marketing device.

The principal is just perfect. Couldn't have scripted a more stereotypical absentee principal.
