lol. yes i usually eat them plain. and the carrots are normal sized. much smaller than what is sold in supermarkets, around here at least.

Bill was exactly $60, which is how much i brought to the market. Not pictured: one whole 3 1/2 pound chicken, 12 large eggs, 2 pounds of lamb meat, one fresh loaf of crusty rosemary bread, cabbage, potatoes, dill, mint, some other things i can't remember, and one container of the absolute best ice cream i've ever had.

I almost posted the makings of a tarte aux pommes du terre, but then I remembered all the potatoes were of a different size and my placing was delightfully uneven and I was overcome with self doubt.

I may try again,

By that way, it tasted like pan cakes. I haven't looked up a recipe. Just sliced potatoes, eggs, cream, salt and pepper.
