Anyone have photos of this MMM bomber being worn (photo is pretty dark—it's the one with the huge zip pockets on the front)? I've seen photos of it being worn before so I know they exist but I can't find any now. And can anyone comment on how it fits?

I knew I saw it before in some lookbooks. It is a beautiful jacket man!

Would it be redundant if I bought another pair of uniqlo jeans, slim stretch selvedge just seem to fit perfectly for me.

They're the best fitting jean that Uniqlo's put out. I'm definitely going to get multiple pairs, since the company has always screwed with them a bit every season.

my favourites too, the only problem with stockpiling is that in a year or so we'll all be wearing these (if the london cool kids are anything to go by)

I have a pair of the JBJ high tapereds coming in, speaking of denim. Synth's post(s) about them had me curious, and the fit looked like exactly what I wanted. We shall see if they work for what I want them to do.

I do want to get a pair of the Levi's MTM when I'm in London in the summer. Seems pretty interesting and the price, though high, isn't ridiculous.

I hope they work for you. My pair is one of the few pairs of jeans I own that doesn't currently drive me insane, but it's the overdyed, sulfur-blue version.

I went with the 14.8 oz. "twisted weft". I can't remember the last time I bought denim head denim, but I forgot about all the options and info there is about the different weights and weaves of denim. I thought the 14.8 oz looked like a dark denim that wouldn't be absurdly heavy, but that also won't fade very quickly. We shall see if the fit works for me though.

The club my girlfriend and I belong to allows denim in their club room for dinner, but it has to be dark denim, so I'm hoping this will fit the bill. I got a pair of New Standards recently but the leg opening was so absurdly wide that I know I'll need to get them tapered before I can even wear them in public.

The high tapered just too tapered for me. The sulfured dye looks real good after a few washes though, I work on my car in them. I must agree that the current uniqlo selvedge stretch fit is good this year. Decent front rise length and not going over board on the taper.

This just shows how malleable our tastes are. 15 years or so ago, New standards would have been considered absurdly tapered, essentially Dad jeans. I'm not immune either, but it's good to understand how deeply we are influenced by trends.

It is interesting. I had a pair of New Standards 7 years ago (good god, was 2009 really that long ago?) that I wore to shreds and they never felt wide at the hem at all. Didn't get them altered at all
