Yea, I went with Church's Newbridge, they're eh.

Didn't try on but was also looking at Barker Nairn, Cheaney Deal, Tricker's Woodstock like MoK mentioned, AE Leeds, Solovair Gibson, Docs. More expensive options are Heschung Arum (black PTB version only at Barneys, NMWA has scotch grain model), MHL, Yuketen 1940 Milspec, Alden. COS also has a basic PTB but they look suspect.

What's eh about the Newbridges?

The Heschung's are beefy yet a bit too pointy like many of the options.

A docs with ****** leather would be fine

It seems similar to Alden's Barrie, leaning more towards the formal side

The Odeon has a more pronounced taper and more bulbous toe, they're quiet different.

Marsell has some really cool ones but you have to find the right model in the right season because most of them are just weird.

I have those Alden derbies pictured above and like them, but they're super clunky. Not just because of that shell cordovan, but the massive welt. I feel like the Heschungs would be a lot more versatile.

Also have Raf derbies. Price is ridiculous for what you're getting, but it has a nice shape.

Viberg also has a nice looking derby. I think Oak Street Bootmakers has something similar. Maybe also Truman.

I think the Raf derbies have the nicest shape in the market. I agree retail is high, but they can be had on sale if you are patient. Viberg make a good pair of derbies as well, but priced around Dries' so maybe too high.

With some of these suggestions like Alden, Heschung etc, we are getting into off duty office bro territory, an area Occulta wanted to veer away from.

When it comes to SWD, a fat 360 welt is crucial imo but I'm not one for subtlety.

Damn, I'm glad I asked. Thanks for all the recs.
The Arums look really good, I have no idea why I couldn't find those when they seem to be at a lot of places.
