Which retailer was it? Boots look great.A year ago I came across those special order boots at a large german retailer. They seem be to quite rare.
C&J Tintern 2 in dark brown Willow grain on last 367 on the city sole. Handgrade! The leather is great.
I got them for a steal because it was the last pair of that model. I should make photos where one can see the whole boot.

It was Görtz. They mostly have low quality main stream shoes. But some of their shops have some "luxury" shoe shelves. The shop in Cologne has quite a C&J selection. However, I found the Tintern in their web shop. You can still find the model on their site through a google search - but it is completely sold out. I got the very last pair. The only other retailer having a model called Tintern is Upper Shoes, but they do not have them in Willow Grain. And on another last.Which retailer was it? Boots look great.
Loose threads are common and nothing to worry about. If they bother you, cut them shorter and burn the endThis is my first pair of CJ’s and I’m stoked! Harvard’s from Bodileys in dark brown shell. However I am wondering if these loose threads are cause for concern. there’s a few more I didn’t photograph.
I’m less concerned about the finishing on the edges or the puckered stitching but thought I’d include those too.
should I just cut off the threads or burn them off?

I agree that I would not worry about them and simply cut them off. But they are not common with C&J. I have a lot of shoes and boots from them and have never had any loose threads.Loose threads are common and nothing to worry about. If they bother you, cut them shorter and burn the end
