So between HTC, that Melrose store, American Rag, and Barney's... that area is pretty damn covered.

Funny. I bought that Buffalo plaid shawl collar cardi last season.... only from the Blue Label line. Weird

They have released a pair of STF jeans, but they were clearly labeled as such and greatly oversized. Retailed for $295.00, and did not sell well at all.

Color has nothing to do with anything, pal.

just to clear something up:
1) The slim fit's run more or less true-to-size.

2) The straight leg's run quite a bit larger (2 sizes?) than their tagged size.

3) There is no such thing as a slim straight leg.

Am I way off base? I went to the soho store and found the pair i tried on in size 30 to be too large in the waist, I usually am a 31, and i think they were the straight legs.

It depends on what season/what cut of the jeans you're looking at.

In my experience:

1. The slim's run true to size or a size large, depending on where you fall within a given size.

2. Yes around there.

3. A slim straight leg is a jean that's slim through the thigh and street from the knee down. The closest RRL cut to this would probably be either the slim boot or their new cut (which I haven't seen).

Thanks for the response. I was asking whether RRL had a slim straight leg (i know such a jean exists, haha), i'll have to look into the new cut. I'm pretty sure the straight leg is the right cut for me (it does have a slight taper, IIRC), but they didn't have it in my size.

I have a question regarding RRL but not their Denim.

I bought a pair of RRL Chinos from a web merchant but they don't fit. I don't know if they are this season or a previous season. I would imagine, however, that any Ralph Lauren merchandise system is very complex.

Could I return these, without a RRL or Ralph Lauren receipt, to a RRL or Ralph Lauren store in NYC for store credit?

If the tag is still attached you could easily try.
Just say they were a gift.
I suspect they will 'scan' as having been sold from an outlet store for a price significantly less than what is on the tag.
You will likely be then told to f*ck off (ie, return it to an outlet store).
