i'm not really into denim so i haven't actually compared them to some of the other forum staples eg apc ns, so maybe that's why i don't think they are that good

In all seriousness, do you have any evidence to the contrary? I've never heard of RRL using Cone.

Only according to what the sales person at the RRL store told me. Maybe he was misinformed.

I just bought two pairs of RRL jeans that look like real farmer jeans. They have kind of an acid wash to them, and are really light.

I also had 2 different SA at RL tell me the denim is from Cone. They specifically said Cone Mills in Greensboro NC. They didn't just say "Made in the US" or something. I even had a long conversation about the history of Cone Mills with one of them. Apparently he went there on a few field trips in college for whatever his major was.

They are made in the U.S., but of japanese denim. It says so on the inside of the pocket bag. I have two pair and i love them. The two i have run quite big. And they stretch out alot, probably an inch and a half.

Weren't you just selling a bunch of them... accompnied by glowing praise? C'mon. They're good jeans, and worth buying on sale.

I hope they are good, just picked up some from the bay NWT for 70 bucks shipped. I need to stop reading this forum and save for my semester in Europe . . .
