how about instead of having to run every time you watch TV, you just not eat like **** and drink all the time? or get out of the house for a walk or run every once in a while? Or maybe read a book or take a class to keep the old brain sharp?

TV's not making America fat and dumb. Indifference and laziness is.

I do have to say most TV is **** right now anyway. All the more reason to not watch it simply out of habit.

If those fatties won't help themselves, let the government help them. My idea: if you're an X% overweight, you cannot buy a regular TV. You must buy a government-sponsored TV where it's hooked up to a treadmill. You must power your TV with your treadmill by running/walking on it. For every 15 minutes that you run, you get 1 hour of TV. For walking, you get 1 hour of TV for every 30 minutes.

Great idea DarknWorn......... :) That would help solve the Fat situation. We need to also impose
a tax or ration program on food dependent on the weight of individuals. It is truly an issue here in the south (Atlanta). I resided in New York City for almost 17years and did not see as many obese
individuals because of the " walking" done in the city.
