http://www.powerbalance.com/australia/ca In our advertising we stated that Power Balance wristbands improved your strength, balance and flexibility. We admit that there is no credible scientific evidence that supports our claims and therefore we engaged in misleading conduct All of a sudden I can't lift that milk jug anymore.

I question the intelligence of anyone (barring young children) who actually purchased those things in the first place. What a waste of time, money, and resources.

I bought one just because my physiotherapist reccomended me to wear one, and I think it helped... but it may be self-suggestion.

I wore one of these:
And took some of these:
And I got stronger, faster, and slept only 3 hours a month. Clearly, the producers are being extorted and forced to put filthy lies on their site. The band works.

Yes - the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC - a statutory Aust govt authority) made Power Balance provide a public statement and to offer a refund to anyone who had purchased a band on the basis of the false advertising.

ACCC information page on Power Balance: http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.../itemId/964065
