1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I bought a $1284 Stuart's Choice suit this morning for $275. Look in the buying and selling section in a few minutes for pics of the shoes I am selling. Z

    Hello,

By any chance, are you planning to return to the sale? Would you be willing to pick up the brown 43R suit for me? I live in that fine metropolis called Poughkeepsie (last station on the metro-north). Will reimburse + 6 pack good beer?

One of the posters stated that it ran long. If it is more than 31.5", please pass on it.

    Thanks

Shoes are wiped out and everything else is going fast now that prices are so low. I picked up three pair of Stuart's Choice in 7D to ebay and hopefully curb some of the damages from this sale. Before I ebay the lot, any interested member is welcome to them for $75 shipped. Shoes are:

    - brown suede loafers
    - black wholecut medallions
    - black wholecut w/brogueing (same style as the pic on page 21 of this thread)

    PM me if interested.

(sashae @ April 15 2005,11:09) Stuart's Choice suits (over $1500) (of which there are almost none left) are $250. Â Any suits over $1000 are $225. Â $750-1000 are $150 (I believe), and below is below [IMG] -s

In the immortal words of Jeff Spicoli --- "You Dick." And that goes for all of you who are able to swing down to this sale to buy $10,000 of amazing PS clothes and shoes for, like, $199 or so. Dang I'm jealous.

Was this a one time or sale or does this sale happen yearly?

And no one picked up any 38R they want to get rid of?

I guess the "right" answer would be - "I got the invitation/email and came". They want to have control over the list of people, so maybe they can sell/use it in the future, if they can prove that it's worth something. If there are other channels of communications - it devaluate their sources. My 2 cents.

IT WAS IN FRICKIN' NEW YORK MAGAZINE. I mean, seriously. They have little to be bitter about here.

OK word has it that the fine and upstanding young ladies mentioned in this thread will soon be at the PS sale. They will be hiding near the 43R brown suit, which has been mentioned in this thread. But the trick is these fine ladies will be invisible until the kind person buys this suit for me. At that time they SHOULD miraculously appear. Someone please get me that suit.

Freakin A....will the f'n sale end already?.?.?.? I am absolutely dying here. I was born and raised in NYC. I live and work in NYC. I hate ever stepping foot outside NYC. Why oh why, did I have to be in rainy, dreary, chilly London this week when this sale was happening in NYC. I hope I don't do anything rash tomorrow....like go buy everything up at the Edward Green store at the Burlington Arcade, while pretending I am at the PS sale. That would hurt. In fact, just for spite, I think I am going to announce that there is an Edward Green sample sale in London tomorrow...everything 80% off.

The correct answer is: "I overheard a couple of guys talking about it last night at <INSERT NAME OF HOT NEW CLUB>."

Yeah, he was not pleased with the company that was running the sale for doing that. They have some linen sale in 2 weeks at the same location if anyone is interested. Forgot the maker, some woman's name.
