Heh. I bought one of these many years ago from Ben Silver, inspired by that very pic. Mine was not as nice as yours; I can tell from the pic that yours is better silk and makes a better knot. Anyway, I wore it a little, but then started to feel guilty about it. I can't remember the last time it came out.

Ed, you start with silk squares and sooner or later you are wearing two colored button boots and berets. It is a slippery slope.

I love the tie in the second photo. I thought you were not a silk pocket square guy? Your first combo is nearly a home run for real life, though maybe not loud enough for this contest. Except for the square - that kills it for me (it distracts rather than contributes). The square is damaging in the second one too. I have a feeling the combo in the second photo shows shifted colors and in real life works very well. As displayed on my screen the colors don't work well for me. I think the jacket was washed out by the flash but holds its own against the tie and shirt better in real life.

I agree- although the square in the top photo doesn't work for me with that tie, I really like that square.

Yep. I like both squares a lot. I have one just like the second, but maybe a little more royal than navy. The first one is beautiful.

Nice outfits iammatt, you and I are of similar minds. I like the colour of the lavender tie, just not so enamoured of the pattern.

I would like to log this as our second confirmed Jantzen fabric sighting in this contest (unless there were additional ones that I missed).
Feel free to correct me if I am wrong...

FWIW, and possibly very little, I find it interesting to look at the different ways the armholes on the various cuts react to the ridiculous motion necessary to take these pictures. It is probably instructive in some way. Perhaps our fearless judge could instruct.

Whoa. I need some dramamine this thread's getting crazy.

Wasn't Luciano Barbera the king of this 4 pattern and more yet keeping it real world and subtle? And do not socks, shoes, belts and such play into this?

Just kidding, keep it going, it's crazy!!!

I just want to know who's really wearing this stuff in public when they post their pics.

My stuff is 100% legit. I wear it all in public with confidence.
