What's your ONE specific item you intend to buy this year? (not just "brown shoes" or "gray suit")

for me, it's to get a good pair of cordovan penny loafers..either Alden or Brooks. I've always thought of loafers as form over construction but I think I'll splurge and get one that has both.

anyone else?

Mine was a Barbour Beaufort, and I just received it today from Fishing the Cape (a good deal at $226 shipped since they're phasing out the Original Beaufort for one that takes a zip-in liner as opposed to a snap-in liner).

Now I only have 360 more days to think of something else...

I made a personal goal of certain things I wanted to accomplish for my Church, physically, and financially and the gift will be a Chris Despos suit in gray flannel 3 piece when I hit those goals. I doubt it will be this year but soon.

Unable to limit my desires, I pick two must haves for the oh-seven:

(1) Three piece navy herringbone suit from Chan--sb peak lapel, db vest with peak lapel.

(2) Crockett & Jones Saviles in brown.
