1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

midship, that looks pretty good to me, too. Basic, but everything fits.

    ^Agreed.

Alan I've found 1.25" belts with a slightly more substantial buckle to work best with a dressier jean and wider for more casual pairings without looking like a cowboy.

Second WAYWT Thanks for the responses guys, I've decided I'm more into subdued tones, I will be selling my nike's as I don't think they represent me well enough, I bought them because I liked the colour. I'd like to see more fit pics from you guys, not so many in the last few pages. :p [IMG] [IMG] Saba jumper/hoodie Armani Exchange v-neck (hidden) April 77 jeans Loake shoes

It works. Not a huge fan of the dirty shoes and some sneakers may be better (CPs would actually be good here), but it works.

AlanC, the jeans are a nice relaxed fit on you. Pull them down an inch or two, and they'll look better at the waistline and you'll also have a more appropriate amount of break for denim.

Seems to be the consensus on the rise. Really, having them this low is already taking some getting used to. I wear my pants at the 'natural waist' on my tailored clothes and khakis.

alanc, have you lost weight? Looks pretty good! +1 on the baron vibe, which is a compliment.

I'm sure Baron's status is safe, but thanks! I have lost some weight. I'm back to where I ought to be, which is what I weighed when I finished college 16 years ago. I'd like to knock off another 5 lbs or so.

    Belt's too dressy for this.

You're probably right about that. I'll have to give the belt issue some thought.

The suggestions are good. I'm still trying to get this all figured out. The last time I wore jeans at all was pre-SF, and you wouldn't have wanted to see that! After the New Year I'll probably look to pick up some APCs or Nudies, but I don't want to rush into it. I consider these entry level jeans.

Jeans are meant to be worn at your hips. The 'pulling' in the crotch is because they're belted so high. Also, there's nothing wrong with Levis! I love my Levis, espeically on rainy days haha.

Those nikes were fine, it was just paired with the belt that was making it too much.

for casual looks like that i prefer the button down collar as it isn't all over the place as soft collars like that seem to be most of the time.
