I get more compliments for the suit he traded to me. It has incited man lust (kind of scary) in others.

That was a hell of a great suit. Pity as I did dearly love it, never really wore it and then traded it

It is great to hear that you like what I sent to you. I am still waiting eagerly for the Brioni, Chester Barrie and Prada jackets/suit to arrive.

I would also like to thank VABeethoven for the recent trade that brought me over a dozen Zenga, Lorenzini, T&A etc. shirts.

A few things that I've had around for a while. I'm mostly looking for boots and loafers in a large 12 or 13. I wear a 41L jacket and 34-35 pants. Awesome Polo by Crockett and Jones golf shoes, size 12D. I wish these fit me, but they are a snug 12.

More pics and info here: http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=102701 Light charcoal Oxxford flat front wool pants, medium to light weight. Perfect outside, some loose stitching in the lining. Lots of handwork. Waist: 42 Rise: 13.5 Inseam: 30.5 with 1.5" cuffs

Southwick for Paul Stuart tweed jacket, 44L. Very cool, but a bit too big for me. Two buttons, center vent. There is a little bit of red paint on the bottom of the front of the jacket on the right. You can see it in the second picture. I don't know how easy or hard this would be to remove. Chest: 45" Waist: 42" Sleeves: 26"

I looked at those and wondered if golf shoes can be resoled with regular soles. But then those would be some really different spectators, and not cheap when you put it all together.

I actually wore the shoes out once with the soles as they are. For walking it really makes no difference because the only surface that touches the ground is leather. Of course there are holes all over your shoes which are obviously designed for cleats that aren't there... personally I wouldn't mind, but I'm 22.

I'm new to thrifting and have just started buying stuff, so I thought I'd post what I've picked up so far to get a community opinion and see if anyone wants to trade (looking for 46R suits and jackets and 11.5D shoes). Let me know how well I did in my picks.

14B Merlot Manchester Allen Edmonds: Odd size, but anyone with long thin feet, this is your lucky day. In great condition

Zegna Sportscoat. Tag is missing so not sure of the size, I'm guessing 42-44, will post measurments if anyone's interested. Fabric is extremely soft.

44R Corneliani Sportscoat, in great shape except for a small stain on the bottom of the right sleeve (some kind of sauce I suspect). Slightly too small for me, though I'm considering keeping it anyways and wearing it unbuttoned.

42R Giorgio Armani Orphaned double breasted suit jacket. Has some small holes and wear near the bottom I didn't notice when I bought it.

35 Zegna Wool Trousers. Look like they're brand new, fantastic condition.

36 Louis Raphael Wool Trousers, I know they're not the best brand, but they're NWT and thought someone might want them

So that's what I found in a couple of trips, did I do well? Anyone want to trade?
