Made some chinese scallion pancakes. Last one suffered from too much leftover flour in the pan. Really tasty. Not easy but not a fussy dish. Got it done while other things were cooking.

Rack of lamb with an experimental marinade/sauce of tomato puree, paprika, garlic and onion. Sous vided in that mixture then added a nut crust and roasted until it crisped up a bit on the outside. Did not suck.

Might as well yhrow in that i cooked these tonight too and they were so.e good-ass *****.

Was raining so instead of grilling a 400 oven. Baking sheet with foil sprayed with pam. 15 minutes. Flip. 10 more minutes.

So i also made her char siu chicken last week. Highly recommended. Five spice powder is such a great seasoning. To me it's one of those things that we know because we don't know how to pin it down.

Last night: Orange chicken. Scallions, Candyland tomatoes, and cucumber from our garden. Oranges from biweekly local farm produce delivery. None of our chickens were harmed in the preparation of this meal.
