What? The doesn't sound like an official emergency fund purchase. Can I get a ruling @Newcomer

In the world of Styleforum, not having a burgundy pocket square is a legit emergency.

Greg will break many of us, I suspect, between the Scylla of his $50 discount and the Charybdis of his recent Inglese and Calabrese drops. Which ones are you in for, Murl?

Lavender and blue stripe, green check, and a Bigi tie. $50 or not, I might not make it.

Those striped Ingleses are awesome. I know we're supposed to be a support group, but if you cave for those, I won't blame you.

Are bags excluded? If not, I might cave on the Linjer start-up :(

I'm not @Newcomer, but I am an attorney who can represent you pro bono before the NPC Board if you are charged with a violation. I don't think that the Linjer bag is a violation, for two reasons. First, the bag is not a "clothing or clothing-related item" under the plain meaning of these terms, which implies something that is worn on the body. A bag is an accessory, which is not included in the prohibition. Second, I believe that you are committing funds, not spending them. Your credit card will only be charged if Linjer meets its fundraising goals, and the charge is likely to occur after the month is over.
