There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah, basically the only people who will use video chat are long-distance couples who need phone sex.

    Iphone+chatroulette+TGV bathroom=trip made easy.

I have been living without a mobile for like a month. It is nice. I'll still go get one next week though, proba Blackberry.

I have a piece of shit carrefour phone because I never use it to call except in emergencies or when meeting someone in an unfamiliar spot.

I am the guy who holds out forever waiting for the perfect smartphone and eventually dies without ever having bought one. [IMG]

Pre-iPhone 3G, I was that guy too. My old phone, which still had a black-and-white screen long after everyone else had color ones, died, and because I didn't think the phones on the market were good enough, I bought one of these: [IMG] because it was cheap as hell and was unlocked, and did everything I needed it to, e.g. make calls and be light and unobtrusive. After being mocked for about 6 months, I finally knuckled under and bought the iPhone 3G.

You guys have me interested enough that if the iPhone gets on Verizon, I'll probably get one.

Not sure if I understand the Verizon hype. As haganah and I have both pointed out, ATT is not nearly as bad as their press suggests. And Verizon is not nearly so good.

I won't be upgrading from my 3GS, but its still a pretty cool little toy. I'll upgrade when the next big revision hits.

I agree with this, based on my current experience with both AT&T and Verizon.

Pretty much agree with what he's saying. I also think Apple's future as the market leader rests heavily in how they handle app development and sales.

If Apple continues to make their phones the easiest to use out of the box and keeps important apps at the forefront with incremental updates to their OS and design, they'll always be in position to lead the market with new hardware.

Would include my business use, mainly calendar, contacts, and email. I'm not going to carry two phones, as I see so many people doing these days.

I can't vouch about nationwide but I can tell you where I live Verizon has the best coverage. It's so differential, only Verizon can get a good signal inside my building at work.

The only significant improvement seems to be the better camera (5mp, flash). I think I'll keep my 3gs.

T&T's new data plan screwed over ipad users, or potential ipad customers. and it surely affected my decision on buying the iphone 4.

"AT&T (T, Fortune 500) says 2 GB is the equivalent of 10,000 emails without attachments, 1,500 emails with attachments, 4,000 Web pages, posting 500 photos to social media sites, and 200 minutes of streaming video combined."

I have been debating what phone to get for some time now. Despite my dislike of Apple, having used the 2G iphone for the last little while (without a data plan, relying only on wireless) I was actually considering getting the new iPhone if it had a 4" screen and could be jailbroken.

Now I am seriously considering the Evo 4G but I'm waiting to see more reviews of the battery life. So far I'm seeing a few reports that it sucks major balls and that would be a deal-breaker for me; even though, unlike the iPhone, I could change the battery (don't want to carry around a spare though).

It's out of stock pretty much everywhere but I'm thinking I may get it and give it a try. If it doesn't work out, may still consider the iPhone 4. Maybe...

Big plus to Spint is that it's ridiculously cheap. $60 unlimited everything. Well, $70 with the bullshit $10 4G "tax" on the Evo which applies even though most areas don't have 4G. I get 22% off through my hospital on top of that as well as no activation/upgrade fees.

I wonder if the iPhone 5 will support LTE. If it does, then it's definitely worth it to hold off on buying the iPhone 4.

I'll probably get the new phone as I am moving into a new place and t-mobile has horrible coverage in my area. I've been waiting to see what Apple would come up with, not a fan of design but it looks decent.

I wouldn't worry to much about battery life on the Evo, that is things people say about every android device until they learn how to turn apps off that are constantly running. The apps that are sucking the most battery life are facebook feeds and stuff like that. I have a friend and once he turned off several apps that he doesn't use his Evo stayed charged for about 2 days.

Also if you aren't in the market for a phone right now you might want to wait til fall and see what comes out then. It is rumored that Verizon might come out with the HTC Scorpion with a 1.5 ghz processor. And since they are already testing their LTE networks in several markets around the country, it isn't to crazy that they could drop a device in the fall with 4g available in limited markets much like Sprint has done with the Evo.

Add me to that list. I don't really like the blackberry and it's an extra thing to carry around. It's annoying. They're way ahead of apple for corporate needs though.

I keep hearing this, but I don't understand why.

Is it security? Is it applicability across different mail platforms?

I have an iPhone, it works seamlessly with our Exchange server, I can read and view .pdfs, excel spreadsheets, etc. It is a thing of beauty for me.
