Dude chill i know.

Chill? Yeah, right, I'm worked up about it. If you can't post what you mean it's not on me and expect to get corrected.

He didn't do it for a crossbow. She gave him a crossbow because she wanted it done with a crossbow. The reason for that is because that's what Tyrion used to kill their father.
The entire bit was stupidly done. Cersei said she was expecting Tyrion and Jamie to die in the war up North but, just in case, she hires an assassin as insurance (if she wanted Jaime dead she could have killed him when he walked out on her). that is dumb. It is extra-stupid to have her back-up-plan assassin, be a good friend of the two targets. It is double extra-stupid to assign him a particular murder weapon and even dumber to choose such a heavy and also recognizable one. That was early in the episode, but once that scene happened, I lost all faith in the writing.

It seems like all the writing around her has gone to ****. Every scene with her in it requires Frankenclegan to take a looming step forward and put his hand on the hilt of his sword. I'm surprised he wasn't in the post-coital scene.

I wouldn't say I did, but the writing has gone down significantly since they had no GRRM material to lean on, but this was just bad cliche fantasy bit. Let' hope that one of the very few in this season.

I'm surprised they didn't start singing "A Whole New World" during Jon's dragon riding scene, gtfo of here with that ****.

Brann is creepy and decided to wait a few days to tell Sam to tell Jon his true identity? His character has no rhyme or reason to when he is a convenient plot device. These type of characters always suck.

I'll be the battle is over by episode 3 or 4 and the last few episodes will deal with the aftermath.

It was Sam who asked if she would do the same.

So basically people won't want to trust Sam because she killed his family and people won't trust Bran because he's a weirdo. The north will probably prefer Jon (unless they don't like the idea of him not being the son of a male stark). Jon himself probably doesn't want to be king anyways.

Then you get the conflict of her followers, many of whom don't actually give a **** that she has some birthright. The Unsullied don't support her because of blood.

And can you really do takesies backsies on bending the knee? If the true heir to the throne bends the knee to his aunt...do you become an oathbreaker if you try to claim the throne again?
Different throne.

They really set it up by pointing out how Jon gave up his "King in the North" crown and "bent the knee" for the good of his kingdom (all kingdoms in fact.) I can't remember who but someone asked if Dany would ever give up her crown for the good of all. I feel at this point we can see what the final conflict is.

They have been planting seeds of madness in both Dany and Cersi (who many believe is a product of the "liberties" taken on Joanna Lannister's wedding night (along with Jamie thus the incest between them)) throughout the show but I don't think they will go that way with dany

I don't think they would risk alienating the female audience by having Dany go crazy turn on john as well as Bran/Tyrion/Varys and all the others who will be convinced by the proof. I don't expect there will be too much to the conflict between them

also a good chance he doesn't go through with it and takes Tyrion up on his "if anyone wants you to sell me out I'll pay double" offer

I still don't get the whole "birthright" claim that Dany has to the throne. Last I remember, her whole family was killed and specifically deposed from the throne. How does she still get to claim birthright? Her family had only ruled for like 300 years.

So I agree with your first statement. Dany's claim to the throne should be the same as anyone else's--she would get it simply because she killed enough people to convince everyone else that they should let her be queen.
