Online chat with the CS and they'll honor the 40% discount for you.
I did it once and it worked very well.

well this time it actually worked out better
since that 40% off was for only 1 item...
and 1 tie would have been less than $50 so no free shipping...

right now the silk/wool ties are on sale (4 out of 6 colors)
for $35 each
so grabbed two ties for free shipping

if i had gotten 40% off 1 but another 1 at full price... the total would have been higher than buying the 2 ties at $35 each

Got these from Amazon today. For the price, they can't be beat.

the hell? thats a great price and good find. how are they measured? 17 1/4 across the bottom?

i picked up a box of these but have decided to go in a different direction and the seller won't respond to a request to return :( if anyone wants them $10-15 cheaper than amazon pm me.

edit....above offer is gone...seller replied and will accept a return...fwiw i got a lot of questions about quality and thought i'd share more publicly...quality is ok...not heirloom hanger project hangers, but not terrible either...from 3ft they look fine, from 1ft you can tell there are some finish imperfections...finish does not show wood grain but rather the spray lacquer finish treatment. all in all they are a great deal, but beware that if you currently keep shirts on wire hangers (as I do) these take up a LOT more space in the closet. my closet simply could not accomodate my shirts on these hangers size-wise.

Yes, the RL sale is still going. It opened to the public on the 6th, not sure when it ends. It's supposed to be 40% off most RLBL/RLPL (no staples). They started staggering the general sale followed by this sub-sale about a month after, a couple seasons ago. Your best bet is to check the store on Rodeo if you're in LA.

yeah
the SA gave me the heads up about the sale coming up...
but need to know when it ends so i can swing by before it's over and see if i might be able to pick something up after a 2nd price drop (if that still happens)
i guess i will give him a call to ask

Wrong thread. Regardless, Tod's sale in Manhattan was worthless unless you're size 7 in men's.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/Suits-/3001...=meesterfancypants&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_vc=1

Just came across tis seller on ebay. I never bought from them, but they have solid feedback and seem to have very good prices on suits in staple patterns (solids) and colors. Would seem to be great for anyone looking for solid starter suits. It looks like at least some are suits from Nordstrom that were never picked up for whatever reason.
