Out with the old, in with the new. Thank you again so much, I’m beyond impressed with these. I have only one regret, I should have bought a second pair to give to my dad as a birthday present.

Kicking myself a bit for not jumping on those Monty chukkas. Had 'em in my cart for several hours. Great color on those, but I'm not jazzed about the crepe sole though I have other desert boots with that sole. Sure was a great price.

I got two pairs. I will see how my Dad reacts to mine and consider offering them to him. If he doesn’t like them I will probably flog them on eBay.

Haha this is fantastic! Mine are going into hibernation until next spring though. I’ve been on a huge binge this year and I still need to somehow disguise a pair of C+J conistons that I’ve ordered for the winter? my missus will not be impressed :)

A bit of a ‘mad Monty’ experiment for you lads. I decided to wear the boots with half a dozen pairs of trousers to see which worked. I even tried with dress pants for balance. I welcome any feedback. Let me know which you think work, which surprise you how well they work, which surprise you how much it doesn’t work and which make you recoil in horror as you exclaim at your computer screen, ‘For the love of all that is holy - stop! End this blasphemy NOW!’ :)

I think they look excellent with both lighter trousers and darker colours, just as long as theres a decent amount of texture. Rugged boot rugged trouser.

I have a slight issue with the corn coloured chinos I have. They were ‘slim fit’ but, as they needed to be shortened, I thought they might end up a tiny bit too baggy. So I ask the assistant to taper them ever so slightly. And I mean slightly. When I returned, I found them as I feared - slightly too slim. I remarked that they were bordering on skinny. A refund was offered but I said I would take a chance. They’re not too bad. They are perhaps less versatile due to being as slim as they are. As for the dress pants, I know it’s fashionable to mix suede with smart, but I’m not a fan.

Thank you. However, you do need to learn how to quote people properly. Your comment is being lost in the quote. Just reply to comment write the comment underneath the quote. Unless it’s a glitch with your device. :)
I tried to delete the pictures so they wouldn’t show again. Yeah I’m new to this so I’m not always sure what the outcome will be.
