Does anyone on here have a well used pair of the 190 Anniversary Tramping boot in black, and how is it holding up after use? I’m curious about that leather and if the colour varies for example.

@zippyh ? I await your wisdom. 🙏🏽

Heh. You asked about a well used pair. I cannot answer that. However for a hardly used pair they're holding up great. Not any color variation. It doesn't seem like the kind of leather that will show any variation for a long time.

Thank you, sire! I was wondering whether it had any teacore like properties actually. Moving on, how is the feel of the leather and given the last is new what is the look on foot? You like it? I notice you don’t post about it much here.

Has anyone redyed their trickers acorn boots to a darker colour? Is it possible?

I believe that @bemk did this. See his post #22.679 on Feb 9, 2022

Not really any teacore properties at all. TBH, I'm a bit underwhelmed by them. In black, they're just kind of blobby. The quality of them is apparent and it does seem like they took extra care in construction. The leather is thick but quite supple. They have leather soles which I tend not to wear when it's wet. And in Seattle, it's almost always wet. The last is also blobby although it does agree with my feet.

Then I guess I skip… 🙏🏽
