Hey guys! I got these coffee ox reversed suede boots some time ago through the outlet, still waiting for autumn to break them in. I was trying to do some research on the leather, what info do you guys have about it? Is it cf stead repello suede? I wonder what the ox means in the name, the actual animal? Although I suppose it’s just a castrated bull, so I guess nothing different from a cow… anyway, what do you guys think?

Gents I thrifted today TWO! Pairs of brand new Trickers with Vibram soles.
At first I thought these were the Daniel model but mine have a heel tab,plus the Vibram soles.
What model are these ???

Nice find. They look like an MTO based on the Daniel. Possibly a special make up for a retailer. The other difference between these shoes and a ‘regular’ Daniel is that they appear to have a flat welt rather than a storm welt. I think they look good.

I have similar ones from Kafka Mercantile. It may be those were samples without the Kafka marked inner sock? They had them made with pull tabs was all. Decent summer shoes.

Jesus that is a bit much. I wrote in to enquire about a pair in my size and I barely got a three sentence reply. They sure as hell sounded like they won't be writing me again for a while. ;-)
