You can sometimes pick up last season Oxxford suits online that are brand new, unaltered and are perfectly styled for the industry you'll be in. Just takes some looking and access to a good tailor but being in NYC you shouldn't have a problem.

You bring up a good point. I should probably purchase one suit and base my future decisions on that. I will consider MG, but I do prefer a modern slimmer fit.

*Side note*

I was wondering if any of the MTM above has the option to remove any and every label on the inside lining of the jacket (fabric label, brand, fabric count).

I know its a bit of an odd request but I would rather have ONLY my initials embroidered on the inside pocket of the suit, nothing else. I just feel like its a more personal suit that way.

Settling on Suitsupply or Kentwang for MTM is a good idea. You can probably ask them to omit the labels - I understand what you mean as I do that with my bespoke commissions.

After looking into Kent Wang more, ive decided that I will make an appointment with Aaron in about a month to commission a MTM suit with possibly 2 MTM shirts. It seems as if I can get everything for about $1200-$1300.

I emailed Aaron regarding my question about the branding told me something similar as to what Caustic Man quoted.

I am looking forward to having a suit and a couple of quality shirts with NO branding on it :bigstar:

Thanks everyone for their advice and responses

So about 6 months and 4 OTR suits later, I have unofficially been crowned one of the best dressed men at my firm. :fence:

In short, I never got around to making my appointment with Aaron at Kent Wang. I ended up finding some pretty good half-canvas suits for a steal and had them altered by my wonderful tailor. One of them purchased by my wonderful girlfriend.

In the time span of 6 months my taste in menswear has drastically changed. Ive picked the brains of the best dressed attorneys and doctors in my area and have formulated my own taste. (so far)

The business conservative look is starting to attract me more and more. However, I hate wearing a belt and love my ties a little "messy". I never tuck my tie into the tie loop.

I still very much so enjoy the "relaxed" look coined by Neapolitan tailoring.

Now with that being said, I am still on the idea of getting a MTM suit.

-notch lapels (3" or so)
-Two buttons
- super 120-130s instripe fabric

My budget tops of at $1300 this time around. Ive decided to invest in Law school with the hopes of working in entertainment law :bigstar:.

Kent Wang is still a top contender but I really do not care for the "Made in Asia" aspect of it.

I have done a bit more research on Martin Greenfield and I am impressed. Made in NY is a nice little sentiment to me.

Would $1,300 suffice for a Martin Greenfield 2 piece suit with a fabric such as VBC or Loro Piana?

With respect, made in Asia can be of incredible quality. There are probably more tailors in China than anywhere in the world. Just my experience.
