I'm headed to Europe this spring, where I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. Other than running shoes, I only want one pair of sneakers and am looking for something versatile enough that it can be worn with poplin pants and t-shirts, jeans and polos or jeans and a nice shirt, perhaps even with a sport coat. I'll have several pairs of dress shoes, but if I'm walking to dinner, I doubt I'll want to wear those.
I'm thinking it has to be fairly low profile (like a converse) and in a darker color and possibly leather or suede, but to be honest, given how little I wear sneakers (I have some white converse, a couple pairs of Asics and an old pair of Pradas in the back of the closet) I'm having a hard time figuring out what to get to bring with.
Suggestions appreciated!
