I'm looking for a shoe shop name,at the moment market here consists of high-end brands with crazy prices, like Zilli, Stefano Ricci, Billionaire. Good quality reasonably priced shoes are impossible to find here and that's the aim of the shoe shop. Here are some names off the top of my head, Risplendente (Italian for resplendent), Duraturo (Italian for lasting), Maduro (Mature, ripe in Spanish, also a very dark brown cigar wrapper). I know this pseudo Italian/Spanish names sound pretentious but that's what people go for in here. Suggestions?

The name of your shop is so not important. If you carry good products and offer good service, you'll "make a name for yourself."

Are any of the owners italian or spanish? I'm not suggesting Bob's Shoes, but I don't like the italian/spanish names if the style of the shop and owners doesn't reflect the heritage.

The shoes are going to be from Italy and Spain, so i guess it can justify the name :)

Thus Bespoke Zarathustra

That name will get me in the door. Not promising I'd buy but there's no way in hell I'm not visiting such an establishment.

You can create new words from other languages. For example the Latin name for leather is Tergus and for shoes is Calseus/ Calceamenta.
