MTM- Samuelsohn vs. ProperSuit?

I am relatively tall (6'5") and have realized MTM is pretty much the only way to go. I'm a big fan of Samuelsohn MTM and there is a trunk show near me soon that takes the starting price to $1350. I've also looked into ProperSuit as I am only a few hours away from Chicago, and it seems that I may be able to get a higher grade fabric for around the same price. Any thoughts on whether to go for the basic Samuelsohn or upgraded ProperSuit? At this point, I'm leaning toward the Samuelsohn as I am a bit apprehensive about the hassle of taking the ProperSuit to a local tailor at my expense. I might also add that I plan on traveling with the suit a fair bit and would like it to look good right out of the garment bag. Would the Samuelsohn Performance fabric accomplish this most effectively?

Samuelsohn has a good reputation for mtm. Pretty good value. I wouldn't be concerned about using them. I am very unfamiliar with their fabric selection so I will withhold comment on that.
