My brothers and I drove to San Antonio to watch that game. Near the end of that game, after Houston pulled away, all of the Houston fans started chanting "MVP! MVP!" whenever Olajuwan got the ball.

I'd forgotten how great he was. God that was fun to watch, especially considering how cocky my friends a few miles down I-10 had gotten.

Emmitt Smith. He played with perhaps the greatest offensive line in history and had a quality passing game with Aikman. If he played on any other team, he would be merely an above average Curtis Martin-esque type of running back.

The only remarkable thing about him is his durability, blocking skills and touchdowns. However, the touchdowns were merely a byproduct of being in a good offense. He was not a big-gain, breakaway runner. Any RB could have punched in short touchdowns behind Larry Allen.

He had a great career, but there are a lot of RBs I would take for a couple of seasons.

+1.

On another note, am I the only one who believes the Braylon Edwards trade came about in large part because of the LeBron James incident? Does Cleveland basically say "Look, this guy hit LeBron's friend, if we don't ship him out the LeBron will definately be on his way to NY."
