Got a phone call from Michael Thomas Clothiers this week that they'd be opening a new showroom at 1300 I Street next week. Walked by the building to check it out, but it's not visible from the street. I had assumed they would occupy part of the old City Club of Washington space, but it looks like you'll have to walk into the lobby to get to it. I suppose the lack of a visible storefront will protect them from casual browsers and the Franklin Park riffraff, but it may confuse a few potential customers. Anyway, if anyone visits the store in the next few weeks, please report back. I've been told most of their made-to-measure suits (from Adrian Jules) cost less than 1K.

I've been a client of Michael Thomas Clothiers for about a year, and they have a very upscale Showroom. They have been in business for 35 years and are a wonderful Family-owned business. I've had several suits made from them around 1K each, and have been extremely happy with the quality. They offer different levels of suit options, 1 being Adrian Jules, which runs more than 1K. I highly recommend them, their suit details are phenomenal. When you have an opportunity, stop by, I think you'll be real expressed.
